The following review for this book from noel edmonds certainly made me postively happy

This is probably the best book I have ever read. Better, even, than Bobby Davro’s “How the Stars and Planets Make Me Do Things”. Be prepared for an emotional roller-coaster ride. The section where Nole explains the concept of death to a confused four-year old child by filling the boot of his Merc with drunken beagles moved me to tears. For every down, however, Mr Edwards provides an up – I laughed along with Nole as he recounted, with his inimitable charm, how his wife abandoned him for a transexual yoga enthusiast – then came his anecdote about that bloke who died whilst rehearsing an hilarious ‘stunt’ for one of his television programmes, by this point I was in stitches!
